Let's call it the Dutch Dream. The ability to walk out your front door, lace up your ice skates and glide along frozen canals, ponds and waterways, as free as a bird. Here we see some of the first skating of the year in The Netherlands, late in 2008 and into the new year, 2009. We also see Thomas' first time skating on hockey skates, without assistance!
