Line up the frame so that the subject and the sky are captured Step 2: Shine the flashlight on the person and manually focus on him or her; Step 3: Set the lowest aperture value so that as much light as possible passes to the lens, for example F/2.4 or F/1.8; Step 4: Set the highest ISO value, for instance 6400 or 3200; Step 5: Set the shutter speed to about 15 seconds; Step 6: Turn off the flashlight and press the shutter button; Step 7: During the 15sec exposure, draw the light from the flashlight across the person's face as quickly as possible (no longer than 1-2sec) and immediately turn it off.
