In it I better explain how to install the software that is actually used in this video. Links to said software can be found below. Thus, if you run into issues just leave a comment and the collective internet mind will help you out. [Steps - The process in a nutshell] 1. Find an MKV file that you want to use in Sony Vegas 2. Download Necessary Software (See links below) 3. Using MKVToolNix and MKVExtractGUI2 extract the raw video stream (.h264) and audio stream (.aac or .mp3) 4. Open up a command prompt (cmd) and navigate to the mp4box.exe program so you can talk to it correctly 5. Using the correct command-line arguments talk to mp4box and pass it those raw video and audio streams from step 3. Mp4box will take them and mux (combine) the streams into a compliant .MP4 file that you can then easily import into Sony Vegas for editing. [Sample Command-Line for MP4Box] Replace the fps value with whatever your source video is.
