The Lodha reform has been dragging on for quite some time now but in a major development, the Supreme Court on Friday ordered freezing of financial transaction between the BCCI and its state associations with immediate effect which includes funds for match purpose. The apex court refused to give an inch to the BCCI and funds would be released only after they comply in letter and spirit with the Justice R.M Lodha committee reforms. The Lodha Committee has been directed to appoint an independent auditor to scrutinise BCCI's accounts.
